Harlem East Life Plan (H.E.L.P.) is a diagnostic and treatment facility that provides services to neighborhoods and residents in the geographic area of East Harlem known as “el Barrio.” H.E.L.P. is a multi-faceted facility offering co-located services with addiction and general medicine programs. H.E.L.P. affects lives in diverse and underserved areas.
The mission of H.E.L.P. is to promote and maintain sobriety and abstinence while providing the skills, tools and resources necessary to achieve and maintain a “quality lifestyle.” We are committed to responding to drug addiction that impacts our community. H.E.L.P.’s philosophy is “treatment upon demand,” and we pledge to admit anyone who qualifies under the guidelines established by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Department of Health (DOH) and the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
