Harlem East Life Plan (HELP) Joins Open Streets Community Event in NYC
On July 18, Harlem East Life Plan participated in the second installment of Open Streets with a theme of Physical Wellness. Located on East 115th Street in East Harlem and sponsored by Another Choice NYC the day of wellness focused on self-care, nutrition, physical activity, sleep hygiene, and safe health practices.
HELPs participation in this free, community-centered event provided an opportunity to directly engage with the community and share useful tools and resources designed to empower attendees to carry wellness practices forward in their lives. At our booth, HELP provided resource materials such as brochures and postcards in addition to health related items including lip balm and first aids kits.
The event was received graciously by the community with a steady flow of attendees throughout the course of the day. HELP was happy to share the event space with a number of community partners including:

• NYC Center for Comprehensive Health
• Alliance for Positive Change
• Marks Home Care
