Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders
- Conduct assessments and develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy
- Monitor patients for any changes in behavior and symptoms
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex needs
- Document patient services and progress within comprehensive, accurate medical records
- Maintain patient confidentiality
License: LMSW or LMHC
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure LMSW or LMHC (NYS)
- Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses including those with co-occurring disorders
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and interventions, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing
- Experience in strength-based, trauma-informed care approaches
- Ability to collect and analyze information and observations related to patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness
- Experience in family counseling, addressing the unique needs of patients and their families
- Understanding of addiction treatment principles and techniques
- Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate care for clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and their families
Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shift; Monday to Saturday)
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
